Mary Marguerite (Brown) Nickle, 82, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, in her home.

She was born Feb. 23, 1923, in Lawrence County, the daughter of William "Ed" and Bertha (Wisely) Brown. On February 1, 1941, in Butterfield, she was united in marriage to Ray Nickle, who preceded her in death on March 3, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Carl and Paul Brown and one sister, Helen (Nickle) Coggins.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Nickle and his wife, Louise, of Cassville, and Chuck Nickle and his wife, Andrea, of Cassville; one sister, Lola Bradley, of Purdy; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was a life-long resident of this area. She was a member of Gunter Methodist Church in Butterfield. For several years she was employed with EFCO Corporation in Monett, from which she retired.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Gunter Methodist Church, Butterfield, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Jerry Nickle and Tony Pryor conducted the services. Burial was in Gunter Cemetery, Butterfield.
