HUTSON D. "BUCK" REED

He was born Dec. 16, 1922, in Rural Newton County to Willie Lee and Ina (Meador) Reed. He worked in Masonary Construction for various contractors and was a member of the Belfast Baptist Church located west of Neosho. He married Peggy Pauline McMillen March 3, 1951, in Eureka Springs, Ark.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and three brothers, I. Lee Reed, J. Ben Reed and Jack Reed.

Survivors include: his wife, Peggy; one son, Freddie Dale Reed and his wife, Janice, of Cedar, Minn.; three sisters, Marie Kraft and her husband, Lewis, of Neosho, Elizabeth Harden and her husband, Everet, of Wichita, Kan., and Mary E. Clark, of Ash Flats, Ark.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Saturday, at the Wheaton Funeral Home in Wheaton.
