RICHARD E. HILE

Richard E. Hile, 57, of Exeter, passed away Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield following a short illness.

He was born in Monett on Nov. 5, 1947, the son of the late John and Pearl Moody Hile. He married Linda Wellson Nov. 5, 1988. He was a truck driver for Dan Cline Trucking in Mt. Vernon. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Barry County Shrine Club, and the Abu Ben Temple in Springfield.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, one son, Darrell Hile; and two daughters, Vicky and Regina Hile.

Survivors include: his wife, Linda; two sons, John Hile, of Cassville, and Brad Dunn, of Exeter one daughter, Melissa Todd, of Harrison, Ark.; one sister, Mattie Morris, of Monett; and 7 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home.
