Pansy O. (Pat) Brashier, 81, of Joplin, passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at St. John's Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
She was born March 14, 1924, in Tulsa, Okla. She was the daughter of the late Roy J. Holder and Cola J. Carroll Holder, and had lived in Joplin the past year, moving from Washburn. A graduate of Drumright (OK) High School, she worked at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa for 22 years. She retired as a seamstress in 1988. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Washburn and attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Joplin.
She married Walter E. Brashier in November of 1985 at Bentonville, Ark.
She is preceded in death by: her husband,Walter E. Brashier; a daughter, Margo; two sisters, Charlotte Franklin and Lorene Dodge; two brothers, R.L. Holder and Bob Holder.
Survivors include: a sister, Margaret Blain and husband, George, of Joplin; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, at Parker Chapel with Rev. Steve Grace officiating. Contributions to First Baptist Church in Washburn may be made in her memory in care of the mortuary.
