The City of Cassville has submitted its application for the DREAM Initiative grant and is now awaiting word on whether or not the city has been selected as one of the state's 2010 DREAM communities. Economic Development Director Lynette Dilbeck, who prepared the city's application, said this year's submission is much improved with the addition of a completed master plan and an infrastructure needs study and the creation of a formal Downtown Cassville Partnership...

William Werner Woolman was born January 21, 1923, at Dallas, Texas to William Newton and Mary Elizabeth (Werner) Woolman. He died peacefully at home in his sleep on August 27, 2010 in Shell Knob, Mo. He attended school in the first and second grades in Wichita Falls, Texas. His parents moved back to Watonga, Oklahoma in 1931 and he graduated from Watonga High School in 1942.
