City council approves logo (07/22/10)
The Cassville City Council approved a new city logo graphic and tag line at its regularly scheduled meeting on June 19. "We presented the logos to the Cassville Chamber of Commerce Board, the IDC (Industrial Development Corporation), all of the citizen task forces and the city employees," said Lynette Dilbeck, economic development director. "We received over 30 written sheets in addition to the comments we received from the groups."...
Relay goes on in spite of rain (07/22/10)
A surprise rain storm could not deter hundreds of community members from attending the ninth annual South Barry County Relay For Life, which was held at the Cassville Football Stadium on July 16 and 17. Area residents and other supporters helped 13 Relay teams collect $58,970 for the American Cancer Society this year. Team members will continue to collect donations through Aug. 31...
