SYC serves 176 local families
The Barry County Share Your Christmas program provided toys and clothing for 176 families and 420 children this year. Additional children received gifts through the program this week. "Things may be hard right now, but we saw no difference in the amount of donations people made this year," said Gail Reed, Barry County OACAC director. "Our toy donations were wonderful this year. Nursing program approved by state board
On Dec. 16, the Missouri State Board of Nursing gave the Crowder College Cassville Center final approval to offer an associate degree in nursing program. "Receiving final approval was exciting and at the same time a relief," said Angela Seymour, Crowder College Cassville Campus director. "The Missouri State Board of Nursing has very high standards, and it is nice to know that we have met those standards and are ready to offer an excellent program."...
Wildcats edged out by Crane
The Crane Pirates came to Cassville on Tuesday, Dec. 15 and stole a road win from the Wildcats. Conventional wisdom said that Cassville was due for a home game.
