Around 50 Justin Boot employees, who work at the Cassville plant, participated in the company's first annual Biggest Loser competition. Last Thursday, several participants were rewarded for taking part in the weight-loss competition. A pair of local bands will host a benefit concert for the family of Crystal Patrick, a 2007 graduate of Cassville High School who has been battling brain cancer for the past six years. Shell Knob crash leaves two dead (08/07/08)
Last Tuesday, a Shell Knob man was killed and an Arkansas teen was fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 39 north of the bridge in Shell Knob. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a 2000 Dodge van, driven by Brandon Phillips, 16, of Berryville, Ark., drove out of a private drive and was struck in the driver's side by a 2005 Honda motorcycle, driven by Jarred Welch, 23, of Shell Knob...
