Support Group: Anyone concerned about a friend's or loved one's drinking is invited to attend the Cassville Al-Anon Family Group, which meets at 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cassville.

Market: The Old Church Gallery Farmers' Market will be open on Farm Road 1240 in Shell Knob from 8-11 a.m. The market offers fresh, local produce, eggs, baked goods, local beef and pork, crafts and more. People may call 417-858-2510 for more information.

SilverTeens: The SilverTeens single seniors will meet at Bootleggers Restaurant and Brewery in Aurora at 6 p.m. For more information, people may contact BJ at 417-393-9212.

Library: A children's program, held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursdays, will get in the Halloween spirit this week with coloring activities. Snacks will be provided.

Yearbooks: The Cassville High School 2016 yearbooks are now available in the CHS office. 2016 seniors and anybody who ordered a yearbook are invited to pick up their copy office at their convenience.

Friday, September 30

Class: The Cassville Branch Library will host a crochet class for beginners, taught by Kathy Ray, at 10:30 a.m.

Center: The Central Crossing Senior Center will host "Sit and Be Fit" from 8-8:45 a.m.

Cookout: Security Bank will host a Customer Appreciation Day at its Cassville location from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a cook out and prize drawings for those attending.

Saturday, October 1

Market: The Cassville Farmers' Market will be open on the courthouse square from 7-11 a.m., with fresh produce; raw, local honey; baked goods; farm-fresh eggs; meats; fudge; jams and jellies; and crafts available. To become a vendor, people may call Albert Wolfe at 417-652-7308.

Dance: The Cassville Senior Center, located at 1111 Fair St., will host a dance at 7 p.m. Live music will be provided by the Roaring River Sound Band. There is a $4 cover charge at the door. Sunday, October 2

Support Group: The Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) group of Cassville meets at 8 p.m. at 1308 Harold St. in Cassville.

Meeting: The Vietnam Veterans Chapter No. 1023 will meet at the Angus Branch Steakhouse in Monett at 4 p.m. All veterans from all wars are welcome.

Show: Cassville residents Kelley Williamson and Randy Yarnall will be featured in the Weather Channel show, "Storm Wranglers," which follows the pair chasing tornadoes and super cell thunderstorms. The show airs at 2 p.m. EST.
