What a Winter Wonderland

My daughter, Adrienne, at Fayetteville's Town Square.
For those of you who appreciate wonderful light displays around the holidays as much as I do, Fayetteville's Town Square is not something to miss. Visiting the Square at least once a year has become one of our favorite family traditions. We bundled up and got in line for a carriage ride with one of the clydesdale horses. For just a few bucks per person, you can take a couple spins around the Square to snap some pictures or, in our case, fulfill my 5-year-old's fantasy of riding in Cinderella's carriage. There are also pony rides, live reindeer and of course, visits with Santa Claus. Make sure and bring a camera, although any photo I've seen of the light display so far does not do the 450,000 twinkling lights justice. It is something you truly have to see for yourself.

What a nice photo! I didn't know about this. I will definitely have to check it our next year!
